      • I haven't driven my car in a week, I feel weird about it but I haven't really needed to go anywhere. I'm taking it to the HPMSO car show tomorrow, a whole half mile away from my lot

I can sort of understand why he's not doing a ton of other stuff to it though, because he doesn't race it. But to each his own.

        Used to own a Firebird.

            • Dad ran into a big snafu. When he was taking the spark plugs out of the head, the spark plug for the #7 cylinder stripped the last bit of threads on the plug and they're stuck way down at the end of the threads for the spark plug. So he either has to try tapping it out or have it machined and helicoil it.

                        • Didn't get much done this weekend at all unfortunately, but we helped some friends cut down 6 trees so it was a productive weekend none the less. I know dad's bummed because he wanted to have the engine done and installed before he left but it's all good - he'll get it done all in due time.

                          • Well weekends gone took 1 step backwards, Had a spark plug hole with threads messed up. So pulled head and tapped it out, looks ok but didn't have time to put plug in and torque it down. I'll do that before putting head back on, if not satisfactory I'll have to take it to machine shop. This was #7 cyl that had head gasket leak.
