Well, Berger called, and the doors and trunk lid have been re-installed, The front fenders are done also. The Camaro will be ready to pick up this afternoon. Al, Alan Jr, and Ray are coming over to help get her home.

The hood, upper and lower valance panels, headlight buckets, mirrors and IROC (race car) bumper spoiler still need to be painted. But, we'll get the Big Part home today.

If I am not mistaken, Doug does not have any original pics on PC. They are all on 35mm slides.

Ray is right, the only pics I have of the car when it was new are either taken with an old "Instamatic" camera (you young guys have probably never seen one of those

) or 35mm slides taken a little later.

But, I did buy the car brand new in July of 1974. Seems like only yesterday!

Here are a couple pics from today's action ............

There's pics of me and the Body Shop crew at Berger Chevrolet ........ one of Matt Berger and I (He's THE MAN!) and our crew (Ray, Al and Alan Jr) loading the car into Berger's trailer (Tracey took those shots.

). Ray has more pics of the car being unloaded at my house, so hopefully he will post those here.

I am very blessed to have so many special friends. It's all very humbling.

I absolutely love tthat Dark Blue with the Black rocker Panels! I'm kind of thinking how sweet all Dark Blue or Black would be in the engine compartment and underdody

That's funny..........Alan aand I thought the same thing last night when we saw the pix. If you look cloer, you'll see it's his belt and beltloop that looks like a$$crack! LOL

It's coming along great! I just read all 12pg for the first time and that is gonna be one sweet car. You should really try and get some of the orginal pics up though.

Doug, if we ever get together sometime (Meet 'n' Greet or Superfest?

) bring along a couple of your hardcopy pics and I'll see what I can do to get them on the comp. Could probably try scanning them or taking a picture of the picture. Surprisingly, taking a picture of a picture is the easiest thing to do. Heck, instead of scanning papers through the scanner, I just take pictures of it with my camera lol
