Today was a good day. Me, Campbell, and Jeff got the headers on (sorry no pics, I forgot my camera). Took about 4 hours to get the old exhaust and manifolds off and get the headers on. We fired it up and holy **** is it loud. Now albeit it's open headers and we are putting the rest of the exhaust on Friday, still is insane. Maybe I'll just have to attend the M&G with open headers.

      Doooo it!

We should have a run on the way to the M&G, it would be a good race!

Oh. You know I'm up for that.

And by the way Brett, sorry it's taking me so long to get this throttle body thing taken care of. Lotta things that have been costing me money lately and I just havn't had the extra cash to throw away on it. But now that the headers are done I just need to get the cat back welded on and then I'm doing the throttle body. So it should not be too much longer now before I get that extra one to ya.

Not a problem, there is no hurry on this end. I don't have the money to send mine out and get P&P while in school anyway. It would probably just be sitting at my house instead. lol

Well it's been awhile since I updated, I've been pretty busy with summer classes and other nonsense. Anyways, I sent out my throttle body to get P&P and finally got it back about a week later. There was some mix up at the shop and long story short, they did it for me and sent me a $50 refund. So all in all I had to wait but it wasn't a bad deal. So today me, Jeff, and Campbell threw it on in about 10 minutes. Once again, no pics because my camera is dead, but Friday I'm gonna stop and get some pics of that, my gauges me and my buddy put in, and hopefully some videos of the new exhaust. The only other thing I'm planning on doing to the car this summer is the LS6 intake which isn't pressing so I'll be looking around for a good deal and finishing the exhaust with the cutout. I plan on painting my calipers soon as well as blacking out the corners and putting on a black billet grill (hopefully before the Dream Cruise) and after that a nice stereo system over the winter.

Brian posted this up over in the Dyno Day thread but I figured I'd throw it in here as well. Car put down 315rwhp and 324rwtq. I was very satisfied with the numbers. Only 85 more ponies until I get the big 400.

Ok. I'm starting to get frustrated with my rear driver side light fixture. There is a lot of water getting into the unit and every few months I have to replace the lights. It's getting annoying. I waxed my car the other day and noticed that there was water in the fixture and my turn signal was out. So I unscrewed the fixture and unhooked the lights, turned the fixture over and poured out prolly a good 3 or 4 cups worth of water. Anybody else have this problem at all? Any ways to remedy the problem?????

I thought that was you Brett. I'm waiting for my exhaust reducer to come in from UPS and it's all getting welded in soon hopefully. I'm going to Boston in a few weeks and I've been saving all my money for the trip so I have not had as much for the car lately.

                        • Do you have any pics of the porting on the TB? I just picked one up on LS1tech and want to send it out to get ported as soon as it gets here.

You know Brett I don't, but I can get one for you probably. My camera has been on the fritz lately and that's pretty much why I havn't had any pics in my updates, but I just got it fixed a couple days ago so I'll have some pics up today. I'll try to get them up by this afternoon after some running around.

UPDATE: I've been running around and stopping at Murray's constantly to keep checking if they have this spray tint for all my markers and corners but they are always out. I'm planning on getting those painted black and throwing on a black billet grill before the Dream Cruise. Just a couple little things. As mentioned before I'm going to Boston in a couple weeks so I've been saving money for that, so I have not had any for the car. So I prolly won't be doing much more else to it before the fall except getting my exhaust welded all in and getting the cutout plate and switch installed. The winter is when I'll be throwing in a couple goodies that I'll just be keeping to myself for now.
