not a trans leak, its coming from the rear main seal area and dripping down through the bellhousing.

its ready to be dropped out but I am catching up on a boatload of work from having the last few days off.

Jeff do you know exactly what the problem is or will you not be able to diagnose it until you get the trans out?

I have a couple of good ideas but won't know for sure until the trans is out, either way I'm hoping a trip to the dealership for a few gaskets is all it will take.

Well I finally got the trans out yesterday and found the leak. It looks to be the rear main seal as I expected so new gaskets are in order and then back together again.
