Well, today's the day that we started working on the car. We moved everything out of the way in the garage and then backed my car into the garage. My dad and I removed the battery, disconnected the wires inside the car under the dash that is attached to the engine wiring harness. We then drained the coolant from the radiator plug and then disconnected a couple of the tubes going to the engine from the radiator and what not. Still left the lower radiator tube on, though. Then we jacked the car up to put the rear tires onto my spare zr1s.
And that's where all hell broke loose. We have a little 2-ton floor jack that we were using and we would raise the car up on one side and then the jack would be extended as far as it could and we still had like 5-6 inches more to go before the zr1 would slide under it. So then we grabbed four 2x4s and put them on the jack to raise it up higher.
My dad was on the passenger side of the car and I was just after the muffler with half of my body under the car. My dad was trying to slide the zr1 rim and tire under my passenger rear tire when we heard a loud creak and it was the car rolling forward.
I jerked back as much as I could and my dad rolled backwards out of the way while the car fell downwards on top of me. THANKFULLY there was one random jackstand extended all the way up and some how or another just by random luck the jackstand caught one of the dual exhaust pipes and the rear tire and my rear ground effect caught the zr1 rim and tire so it held it up a little. THANKFULLY!!!!! or else I wouldn't be typing this right now... probably would be in the ER right now.
When the car rolled forward, it also knocked the pan we had which was catching the coolant so it went ALL OVER the place.
We went and borrowed my neighbor's 3.5 ton jack that extends 20" -- it's amazing how easy it is to get a job done when you have the right tools! Anyway, here's the pics.

And the last two videos of my car with my v6 engine:
