      • Yea they gave me the option to pay in full.. Or a 50% deposit and pay the other 50% when the hood ships. I paid in full because I didnt know how much I would be spending so

Now I know why MHCP didnt want to do business with VFN anymore! Hoods are badass but dammit just send me mine already. They said it would ship faster if you pay in full and I wanted to try and get it on/painted by the M&G but Ill just have to copy Steve and just have throw it on while its primer white

Im going to call in a couple days ...again

                • The instructions are kind of confusing to me but will be put in probably tomorrow or by the weekend.

Here are the pics. I ordered the "Racing Grill" instead of the standard diamond style

Now the search will be for a Chevy Bowtie emblem that I want to paint the inside black and the outside green

                    • Oh the hole? I ghetto fixed it. I never used bondo before so I did my best Just a temp fix before Todds bro in Law fixes it for me once I gather a little bit more money.

But next on the list is the spoiler! Since its the next cheapest

                      Heres my ghetto bondo

Just happy it doesnt stand out as much. The more I sanded the closer I got to cracking it again so I said !@#$ it ha

So as of now the list is parts I have is

                      4 GFX peices
                      1 Tailight panel
                      Hood ( ) on order...
Black front turn signals (on order)
                      Front Bumper

                      Still need

                      Spoiler
                      Wheels
and a whole lot of TLC

Hoping Yoshi holds up long enough for it to be somewhat complete so I can finally park it and get me a winter beater! Then really get to work.

if its a good amount of bondo in there he can, but like he said it keeps cracking which means he didn't get rid of all of the damaged areas and just smacked the stuff on there,

You must removed the damaged spots, and Put a good amount in the hole for it to stay.

                          • I would try to knock out as much of the "infected" area as you can, and then if you really wanted to use some fiberglass matt and resin, it would hold up alot better than bodo, just do fiberglass behind it and then bondo the front. Up to you, glad to see that your finally getting your project underway, can't wait to see it on the road!!! I'm starting to pile up some parts too, i ordered my spoiler, i just have to decide on a hood still, keep flipping back and forth. Anyways good luck, and hope you get that hood soon. I would just threaten that you want your money back, buisness are hurting right now and they need all the buisness they can get.

                            • good job bud.

Save some money, Bryan can fix that hole side of the car. If your going to paint and blend, you might as well fix that door also at the same time.

You ever get your rims on?

                              • I will warn you in advance - if you just slap bondo in a rust hole and paint over it, the rust WILL show back up within 3 months, even with automotive grade paint. I did the best job ever doing bondo on the rear quarter of my old Monte Carlo, got it painted and sure enough, it rusted back through around the bondo. Get a patch panel welded in, it'll be far better.
