What would be the accessories you would want to have along with the Proton Plus kit?

Also Jderry I'd look into get a 6AL or a 685 Mallory. I will be going with a Mallory. It has built in 2 step which is nice for those consistent launches specially cause I am a M6.

....forgot to add - put a good nitrous filter on it too, don't need trash getting stuck in the noids - bad stuff can happen!

Alright, back to the tuning of this, how exactly do I pull the timing with the IAT?

I did some searching for you - all the info I can find is for LS cars.

You'll have to verify that the LT1 ecm pulls timing like LS1 one does.

Looks like a lot of LT1 guys use the mallory 685 box

Just go with the Mallory 685. As I said you can obviously pull timing with it when nitrous is activated, it has a built in rev limiter, it has a built in 2-step, has a built in window switch. This is the best route I think.

Thats all you really need to run nitrous the 685 and the NX Kit.

Would suggest a WOT switch and a Fuel Pressure switch though.

How much can you get the Gen X Accessory Package for EFI for then?
Or even the Gen X 2 package with the purge kit?

375 for the Nitrous.

On another note. How do you go about tapping the fuel line off the test port on the rails? Remove the valve inside then what?

So now you will be able to set it to pull say 2* degrees when the nitrous solenoids are activated, it has a built in rev limiter so you won't over rev, has a window switch so only between the rpms the solenoids will activate and deactivate.

Plus I don't know if you are a 6 speed or not but it has 2 step.

Test port on the rails accepts a -4AN fitting. Just remove the valve then run a -4AN hose from the test port to the fuel solenoid. Done.
