Will I need injectors to run a 100 shot?

    Any tuning needed?
A window switch allows you to turn the nitrous on and off a set RPM. Turn it on to low and it could backfire through the intake. Let it hit the rev limiter while spraying and bad things will happen.

You don't need injectors if you use a wet kit.

You will need a way of pulling timing for the spray.

The timing is not something all require. For my C5, we didn't have to pull any timing for the 100 shot and all looked just fine! It was on the dyno with HPTuners hooked up and everything, and nothing needed a change!

All that means is there was something left in the tune NA.

a cool way to pull timing is to use a relay and resister on the IAT. Then the tuner takes the timing out of the intake air table that the resister pulls it into

Well you know who did the NA tune so I dunno! NA tune seemed pretty great.

I think it means more that not much timing if any needs to be pulled for a small shot. Anything above 100 I would certainly do it. At 100 I would still even check it out at the very least to see where you are at.

100 shot - I'd pull 2-4* out it of to be safe. Also set down to a colder non projected tip spark plug.

If your fuel pump is stock - I'd consider upgrading it.

Could you hit it with 100shot and not change anything? Probably. Would I do it - nope.

Be careful if you run a dual stage and don't listen to the laptop your floor pan will unbolt and fall out of the car and then you would of blown the intake welds.

When you're running those 22 speed manual transmissions in the 4 miles you race you've got to do what you've got to do.

Granny shifting, not double clutching when you should be. Thats what did it.

I've been tossing around the idea of huffing some giggle gas.
I like that Johnny is a NX dealer but the NX stuff doesn't come with any accessories.
Where as Nitrous Outlets have everything you need/want besides a way to pull timing.

At $375 for a kit as opposed to $1571. Gives him $1200 to blow on accessories and make out ahead going NX. I am sure we can get him set-up with everything he needs going NX as opposed to Nitrous Outlet!

Another thing though isn't the NX kits a Fogger kit as opposed to the NO kit that is a plate? Doesn't a plate give you better distribution and obviously the best but most costly is a Direct Port setup?

Or is the Proton Plus considered just a Single Nozzle?

375 though I might have to consider.

Anyone have a link on how to pull the timing with the IAT?

A lot is really personal preference. The plates make for a nice and clean install, but I hear a lot of people have lean spike issues running them.
