    • A dual catch can set up would be nice.

Using vacuum from the turbo to help draw from the PCV system should really help the turbo drain also.

      • Added a turndown to the downpipe. In the future I may add more exhaust but for now this will work

That should work just fine. Good point on the draining...I never thought of that before

          • all of the diagrams that guy did seem to work great I think you will be in good shape dual catch cans are def the way to go if possible, well unless you can afford a vacuum pump.

The more pressure that crankcase has the harder its going to be for the oil to find its way back to the oil pan

              • and as long as you can get enough baffling to keep oil out of the intake tract you'll be good

                • Pretty much done except for the tuning! Over the past few days I hooked up the wastegate, the BOV, and the catch can. Once that was done I went over everything to make sure all the connections were good and bolts were tight and the final thing I did was cut the bumper cover for airflow to the I/C. Today I installed the bumper cover, put the front tires on, and fired it up for the first time. Video's to follow...

In the meantime, here are the pictures of my progress:

p.s. don't mind all the bugs on the bumper cover...it hasn't been washed since last summer

Thanks Mike! I'm going to tune it myself hopefully within the next few weeks (as time permits). First track day is undecided but I will let you know.

Thanks Jeff! I'm excited to start driving this but I have a long ways to go before I start making real power. Right now the WG is referenced from the compressor and I have a 6lb spring in it. I'll be lucky to hit 4lbs in the intake but I want to take things slow until I get some more experience tuning with a turbo. After my initial tune I will probably buy a boost controller and keep playing with it the summer / fall with a few trips to the track but I don't expect great numbers this year.

Beyond that I need to swap out my 4.10 gears for something in the 3.50 range, swap out my LS7 clutch, and replace my leaking clutch slave cylinder this winter so hopefully I'm ready next spring
