My front A arms from Spohn put the front wheels a 1/2" towards the rear of the car. Caused the tires to rub through my wheel wells. Spohn was absolutely no help! I buy UMI now.

OK, so I have run in to a couple of snags so far. Well those really pretty headers that fit on the motor so nice, might just fit just a little to nice. I am looking for a p/s pump that will fit on the drivers side head. I don't think there is enough room for pulley clearance. I just ordered a cts-v alternator for the lower drivers side of the block. So I will be pulling the motor this weekend and waiting for some parts to show up. When I get the motor back out, I will be drilling and tigging the drain for the turbo in to the oil pan. I will be also drilling and tapping the accessory boss that is missing from the block, for the CTS-V alt. bracket.
Any help on the p/s pump would be great.

good luck with the ps pump.. thats what i ran into as well with mine. ended up saying screw it and ditched the PS.. make sure you drill and tap that hold straight or damn near it for the alt tho. was kind of a pain when i did mine.. althought the engine was in the car.. lolOriginally posted by Speedfreak391 View PostOK, so I have run in to a couple of snags so far. Well the motor is back out and sitting on a cart in the shop. I am waiting on the ps pump and bracket to get here. Won't be here until a week from monday at the earliest. So I wait on that stuff. But no time like the present to put my fuel system together, and I do have some brake work to do. That would be a C5 front conversion, and figuring out how to put the ls1 rear disks on the 9" that has drums on it now. I don't think it will be all that difficult, just need to make up some brackets. I also need to pull the oil pan off for the turbo return, drilling and tapping there eh. No biggie, I guess I was just kind of in a hurry to get the motor in the car. Also on the fuel system, I don't really like where the FPR is sitting on the front of the fuel rail. It's not the FPR that is the problem, but it is the pressure sensor that stick of the end. It might have to just stay where it is. I will just have to check for hood clearance, before I make any changes. So I still have a long way to go, but its getting closer all the time. Oh yeah, I also have a ton of wiring to do. YEAH!

Nice car and sweet build! it looks like a mini ninja mobile!
If you want to move your FPR off the rail, (It'll cost a few more bucks for some more lines/fittings) I ran my feed line up to the firewall in my car, Used a Y-block to split my feed into two smaller lines that went to the front of the rails. then the rear of the rails both fed into a Weldon regulator and the bottom of the weldon has the return line out of it.
Makes for a few more lines, but you can still hide them some, or make the lines nice and even so it looks uniform.1998 Camaro SS Bullseye Turbo

Out with the old, in with the new! Stock fuel tank is out and the 4th gen tank with dual pumps will be going in tomorrow. I have all of the parts for my C5 front brake kit now, I will start on this tomorrow after I get the fuel tank in and some lines run. Upon further inspection of the front brake stuff, I found the first thing that was half assed on the car. The brake lines that run to the front caliper are held on to the car with chicken wire. NICE! I will be picking up new lines this week.

OK so some thing have been going on with the car. got the fuel system in and waiting to get the engine back in the car to get the fuel lines to the perfect length, before I cut em. Also got the front C5 rotors and calipers put on. I should have done a step by step on this, but I didn't. Also got the spacers for my wheels in on Wednesday, mounted everything up last night, and I have to say that I really like it. All in All, its coming together. I have run into a couple little snags along the way but nothing too major yet. At this point I am waiting on the power steering relocation kit, then I can get the motor in the car and start fabbing some pluming.

It is sitting a little high right now. Not really the look that I am looking for I am thinking about the lowering springs, or maybe trimming the stockers. Not sure what kind of difference removing the isolators will make, but I would think it should drop the rear about an inch. Any pointers would be great.
