Got my tap and die sets, going to take a crack at it as soon as I get home.

Just so everyone knows, this is what im up against......

you need to replace the shocks. i would not ever tap and re thread that,.

The shocks are NOT old. Cant that bottom bolt and bushing be removed from the eye of the shock and replaced?

But the above part, looks like it will work great.

May head out tonight otherwise tomorrow ill go nuts with a cutoff wheel and a drill to get the stripped busing/bolt out and this one in, be done with the suspension, get the racetronix kit on, then get my existing valve covers off so when the new ones come I can get them painted and on and be DONE with the car as far as M&G goes.

So torn on painting them or not.....

I really want to, just dont have the tools or area to do so right now.
