Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!
If you have any problems with the registration process or your account login, please contact us!
Not to jump on the bandwagon here, but if you decide to do a turbo kit like this for an LT1 (and we desperately need a HIGH QUALITY option), I'm giving strong consideration to going turbocharged on my street car over this next winter. Just saying.

Everything of this should fit an LT1 pending you can get a reverse manifold off your heads to mate to the crossover! I might look into a manifold option here as obviously the truck manifolds will not fit the LT1
i'd go with aluminum for your cold side. it's lighter, and doesnt cost as much. jus my 2 cents! i'm in the process of building my twin turbo kit too. but i have no expeirence with it. i appreciate your help/advice in our pm's!

That was definitely a consideration as it currently is aluminum right now. However the type of aluminum there is access to really isn't up to what I'd like for quality. The weight issue was also thought up, but there is only 3 pipes as it is, so where as there would be a weight savings, it wouldn't be enough to make it a deal breaker in my opinion..... for in return better and nicer quality pipes!
the fans are the only thing being changed up front? I see casey's radiator is in the stock location. Drain is going into the pan or timing cover?
Correct, pusher style fan. Oil drain will be going to the pan. From personal experience I ran into a space issue when returning to the timing cover with the stock size balancer. An underdrive balancer allows for more space, but not everyone runs one of those nor wants to.
does the front mount leave enough room to keep the fogs on a trans am? the kit is built around a stock k-member? do you have a line on truck manifolds or new rad shrouds?

The fogs will be lost on a trans am unless we make a new bracket for them. The kit is built around a stock k-member hence the 3" downpipe. Ideally a larger downpipe would help those searching for more power but would require a different k-member. Might add as an option in the future however! Will need a non-stock k-member car to work on for it. I will look into stocking some truck manifolds! Usually they are fairly easy to come by however.
strange coincidence as I happen to have a UMI k-member
sounds good, I wonder how the DP clearance with that will be compared to stock? Ideally the BMR turbo style would fit the biggest but maybe you can squeeze a 4" with yours! We will try it!
