yeah a DSM is poop because import= poop, but i gotta respect em. Theres plenty of cool guys out there that drive em and will talk to the muscle car guys while bashing on Hondas. Its great! still though i dont wanna talk about em anymore than i have to. So lets talk about Turbo F bodies!

a DSM is built in the US, and most the parts are made in the US, where as a 4th gen F-body most the parts are made in mexico and they are assembled in canada.

Yeah but a DSM has a Mitsubishi engine in it and an LS1 is American made. Not to mention this is an F-body site, so lets hear about some turbo f-bodies. I know a guy with a nice STS setup whos got a lot of money into his DD. Stock block though and heads and cam with upgraded turbo from STS and a FMIC with Meth Injection. Think hes got it tuned for 10psi on low boost becuase hes got a stock rear end as well and doesn't want to break. I'll have to get some more info and maybe he can join and chime in on this.

you'll want to lower your compression, better head gaskets a completly different cam, and unless you are using the turbo as just a noise maker get an intercooler

Sorry to bring this back but in the sprit of learning I did. What does an intercooler do? Will it make my car sound like a Lotus Espirit Turbo winding down? I am not so worried about "the Go" right now, but I think it installing a mod like this would set mine apart when heard.

intercoolers cool the air charge down. They are usually used in super/turbo charged applications.

intercooler takes the warm air from the turbo cools it down like a radiator for our cars. You can get air intercoolers or water intercoolers. Air is just like a radiator, and the water uses water to cool the air before it goes into the engine.
