if you wanna make like a replica of it im sure we could pull it off... try to find the specs on that downpipe then all we have to do is match it and weld it up then paint it or sent it in to get chromed or poweder coated... the rest is easy... find me someone who has it or some pics of it installed... we could do it pretty easy...

Would it be possible to run one filter down each side of the front end? Have the two filters come up one from the left nostril and one from the right? They could then come to a "Y"? Just thinking. Either way I'll be happy as a clam!

that would be a lot of tubing and therefore I don't know if it will actually help. You want to keep the CAI as straight as possible so there isn't to many turns to slow air down.

hmm I suppose your right. Gotta admit it would look great having two polished pipes coming into that thing. Really well balanced I think.

well you would have to check the clearances on the car to see if there is room and no more than one 90degree angle is the key... but there is not such thing as overkill... i run a huge 7x8 inch cone filter on my grand prix.. so by the time the thing even gets dirty enough to need a recharge kit to clean it.. its still capable of sucking more air than the engine will ever need... ill just have to look at the car see what kinda clearances you have... two many bends and it has to work harder..

naw if you can get me some of the specs like the size you need or something then ill toss something together get it all welded up... then ill just bring a torch down and we will bend it where it needs to be "adjusted" but try to find me the specs on the slp one... or a picture of the system in a 3.8 car like yours so i have an idea where to start from. ive got plenty of pipe laying around here at work too aluminum steel whatever... ive got lots of scrap to mess with and atleast get it started...

I'll be going with a custom turbo set-up for my 3.4L. I have the car prepped with boost guage and A/F ratio. The engine is in great shape and should be able to handle at least a small amount of boost (maybe start with just 5 psi and see how it does). I'm currently in the design process for laying out the piping, intercooler, and air filter(s). I plan to use a small and less expensive turbo that can spool up quickly rather than a larger turbo (don't need that much boost anyway, but the more adjustable, the better). I haven't decided on a specific one yet, so any suggestions on brand and/or size would be helpful. Also, are there any 3.4L exhaust manifolds available for T3/T4 or other applications or is that also going to need to be a custom job as well? What about mounting below the manifold (if there's room down there)? Any suggestions are welcome. It'll be some time before the design is ready and I can start buying parts and building.

Also, does anyone know anything about Bullseye Power (www.bullseyepower.com)? Seems they manufacture turbo components (and a wide range of them) in Muskegon. I got their catalog, but I'd have to call to see what types of prices they offer on some of their turbos. My guess is that would be a costly route to take.
