yeah sorry nothing to update. last thursday i had to leave for south beach miami last minute to deliver a 40' Donzi Daytona ZX, 2 Sea-Doo's and a Denali for a friend of mine/his customer....Originally posted by kammi10 View Posti don;t think much has been done in the last week. i think matt had to go drop of some vehicles down in FL and i don;t think he is back yet
i had an '08 denali which had 35 miles on it when i got it from the owner. had it hooked up to 2 seadoo's. my buddy had the guys cummins duelly ram (05'ish) and that was pulling the Donzi. we ran down to the guys 1.5 million dollar condo in south beach to deliver everything. basically it was a huge catastrophie of nothing going right but i just flew home tonight. bars don't close until 5 or 6 there and since i was being treated by a multi million dollar investor/developer...lets just say it was an experience of a life time. wake up looking out the balcony on the 24th floor of the Flamingo on south beach. $$$$$$$
and my spring break i leave saturday to go to Ft. Lauterdale (sp?) craziness i tell ya. but i did order fuel system parts on my way to miami. aeromotive eliminator pump, 2 aeromotive filters, and aeromotive rails. i have a sumped tank ready to go in, and just need some line and i'm either going with 96# injectors or possibly some 155#. Greg's throwing 155's in his cobra and if he can get the car to idle respectibly on those huge injectors i will put them in my car. if not i'll go with the 96's, which kinda sucks because we know the 96's run out at around 700'ish to the tire....1998 Camaro SS Bullseye Turbo

People over on tech have made over 1000RWHP with 96lb injectors. I don't see why you would need anything more. And if you push them to the limit I know that people have had lots of success with 160lb'ers

i don't believe a damn thing i read on "tech" most people over there go on the basis of "well i knew this one guy that had a friend that said it was ok, so it must be or else he wouldn't have said it", and blablabla.... 1000rwhp on what, an egojet? which doesn't load the car so when you're trying to tune a car with that much hp with no load and you put it on the street with a load, guess what...that tune is out to lunch...not to mention gregs cobra is right around 700 to the tire and it's OUT of fuel. base pressure is cranked. Dans turbo hatchback is right in the same ball park with RC 96ers and his car is yet again at the point where it almost needs a larger injector. and not too many people have success with 160's on the street unless you can deal with a 1500 rpm idle, which would bother me, so that's why i'm leaning towards the 96's even though i know they probably won't be enough... if you can't buy it and "bolt it on yourself" with a monkey wrench and a pair of pliars it is "junk" on "tech" from what i can tell...Originally posted by c0ncEpT View PostPeople over on tech have made over 1000RWHP with 96lb injectors. meh, a lot of bs over there but a lot of good stuff too. Reputable sponsors have shown results of taking 60#'s over 700 rwhp. All has to do with fuel pressure though. Without a BR regulator, 60's will make around 700 to the tire but after seeing results, and talking with nasty nate and Lonnies Performance, they have both actually put down 800+ on 60's with a BR regulator. I dont think 96's would be a problem what-so-ever for you Matt, since i'm sure your going all out on the fuel. Just my $0.02

trip was fun, but now i'm trying to catch up on the 2 classes i missed. then i'm leaving for florida again saturday for my spring break. i really won't be able to work on it until after next week more then likely. but finishing up the fuel system. wiring the BS3 and the rest of the car, and that's about all. redo a few things in the rear end and i should be golden. oh and redo all the brake lines...replumb the power steering lines as well....mostly a ton of little tedious shit but i'll get it done eventually....Originally posted by kammi10 View Posthurry up matt... sounds like the trip was fun tho1998 Camaro SS Bullseye Turbo
