And the 76 was originally going to go where the battery was, so i had hacked out the pass. fender well area. then when i got the 80 it wouldn't fit there so we had to get a patch panel, weld it back in. chopped the core support out for the radiator, and cut the entire front bumper support off and shaved the front of the frame rails, and made the entire bumper, IC and radiator support out of that chromoly round bar.

we even had to notch that one section of the drivers frame rail so the charge pipe would fit though. there was a lot of little things that all added up to a lot.

I just cant wait to get to the track and hang those front tires high!
In your case its a lot of expesive little things that added up but that's the the case with anything. I always have a 25% margin when doing any project because I know there is always going to be a bunch of little things I didn't expect. Even if it's getting thread loc, bolts, and a new tool or two it's always stuff you never plan for.

yeah i know exactly how that is, i figured out about how much i needed, and i added another $2000 to that, and so far i'm about exactly on track. i had somethings that i bought that were not necessary 100% but i got such good deals on them i couldn't pass them up. like i bought a set of pro-stars off of here for a great price. again not something i "needed" but will need and i couldn't pass it up. and my buddy Greg found me my used Big Stuff 3 for like $850'ish i think it was, not a bad deal for a $2500+ system new...

See you guys at the meet 'n' greet...hopefully i can get sean to post some more pictures as we make more progress throughout the week.
