Motown track rental on Tuesday?? I am planning to try to be there but not sure if I wanted to run mine yet..... Don't want to break anything 2 days after getting the car back. I can wait to pick it up tonight when I get back to MI!!!!!!

What time is the track rental and where at? I have class then im pretty sure i have to work after, but i plan on going to Grand Bend on Friday if your interested in tagging along. Its a nice easy drive after the border and a great track, plus you wont have a bunch of people nagging you to beat the crap out of the car if you just want to test it out for a first time.

To be honest, my first pass in my car with the twins i went all out. I didnt go easy or anything, stall it up a tad bit to like 1500 and pedal to the metal. However i'm and automatic on drag radials so its a little better for me. You will have a lot to get used to with the manny and street tires.

I always thought turbo's worked off of load put on the motor. I always thought if you didn't load up the motor(AKA not a lot of throttle) you could get the car to the limiter with out building even a single pound of boost. This is why I thought Turbo guys ran high gears(lower numerically) is because it put more load on the motor thus helping to build boost.

I know for a fact with diesels (not sure if its the same in this case) the harder it is for them to do the job, the higher boost pressure will be.
ex. going up a hill towing a trailer w/ cruise on 70, will build more boost then towing nothing with cruise at 70 on the same hill.

Tuesday evening. ~6pm Milan Dragway for the Motown Muscle race #2 or #3. Not sure which one this is.....

We'll see. Will probably have to go cruising this weekend to see if anyone is still out and have the car out there so people can see it.

Ha ha. Picked it up last night. It is INSANE!!!! I LOVE IT!!!!!!! Too dark for vids of any use. Might get some today. And planning to have it at Milan tomorrow.

The power is great. Pulls like crazy and puts a non-stop grin on my face in the process. Took a guy for a ride this morning and he actually said "That's enough"! Ha ha. And I only topped out 3rd gear. The car is very normal in normal traffic, but a complete beast when opened up. Power comes on smoothly and then hits like a freight train! And the sound of those turbo's when I am in boost is euphoric.

I have driven 500hp Vipers and they are all fine and dandy. They have a little more down low than my car. But the top end feels very similar. Except I have a nice turbine sound with mine!

Ha ha, geez you guys are relentless. I picked it up after dusk last night so no vids from driving it. Hoping to get some today. But I do work during the day. So hopefully tonight. Not sure about the burnout vids. Old wheels/tires are in the garage still. I just want to drive this for a bit and enjoy it for now. I'lll see if I can find a sucker to ride with me this evening to take the video as I have already scared 2 people since last night. Ha ha.

Ha ha, that would look funny. Driving by people and you are wearing a helmet holding a camera. Ha ha. I would imagine some strange looks / responses from other drivers. I have a few friends that live nearby. Once I get my lawn mowed, I will see if one of them wants to be the passenger on camera duty.
