      I had to do a valve job too. Cost me $90 from the place here in town. (thats installed too)

        95% of the heads with 50K+ miles on them will need a valve job. At bare minimum the valve seats should be cleaned with scotch brite and the valves ground IMO

              Also eric bradby is a pretty dang good porter, does alot of the lt stuff. But as Joel mentioned the big 2 for ported factory castings is le and ai

                Mine had worn guides on the intake side, everything else seemed good but i had the full job done on intake side.

                    And while you're that far in there you should just put in a new bump stick

                          i was told it had a hotcam when i bought it, but i may as well pull it out and check, since im taking the cover off anyway aswell

                          edit: does anyone know the specs of a hotcam? and would i just measure it with a micrometer?
