  • cylinder head porting?

how much does this usually run? i am doing my head gaskets (both sides this time) and im gonna have them surfaced just in case they warped at all. was thinking about having them ported aswell. also, i want to have my intake powder coated, i cant remember the guys name on here that does powdercoating and stuff... with all this planned i probably wont have my car for the dream cruise, but ill have my mum's chevelle so its ok lol. can you guys give me some information on costs and where to go? much appreciated.

Advanced induction is pretty much the standard for top of the line port work on LT1s. Alternatively you have Lloyd Elliot, and also locally Dave at Engine Craft does pretty good work, he decked my heads and did a valvejob for me when i had mine apart and my car runs great.

Not sure since he gave me a flat price including the valve job which i think was around $400... Five years ago though i could be off.

I got the kit from summit and if you can just find a 350 head laying around you can get one cheap to practice on. Its actually fun to do

His garage is bigger than his house, Thats where we keep my take off stuff, my brothers take off stuff and my dads take off stuff.... lol. Its like a wherehouse I kinda miss living at home since there is enough room to do 3 full frame off restorations at once in there. My brother is into mopar and my dad is into 60's pontiacs and antique cars. He is starting to build a 47 pontiac into a rat rod poilce car since he is a retired cop lol
