Is a tune required for a throttle body

I'm going to have a 94 LT1 motor out of a Caprice put in. It'll be stock except for the headers and exhaust. My mechanic said he was going to put my intake on as well, not sure why on that. He wanted to put my aluminum heads on until he took them apart last night, but that's another thread.

I also have a stock PCM from the old owner, plus the engine I'm getting is suppose to be complete including the PCM. So I'm going to have a total of 3 PCM's. 2 will be going for sale after the car is going.

Um, intake should be the same exact thing, its the heads that are different.

Maybe the intake was ported?

And personally, Mark, I'd hang on to one of those PCMs... never know when it'd be a good thing to have a spare PCM to use.

I'm not sure why he wants to reuse my intake. Anyway, that way I'll know that gasket is new.
