      agreed I've never head of an ltx or lsx car having brake issues because of the cam size, get it tuned by someone you know the past owner could have used a handheld programmer or something stupid.

        Seriously? Bigger the cam the less vacuum you're going to have. All I've ever heard of is people having issues with brakes because of their cam size and people having to get additional brake boosters.

          Yeah cam size deffinatley effects brakes. It's a big difference between my old LT4 hotcam and the one I have now

              Just going off what Discount Tire told me about the brakes.

              As for the exhaust I need to look under the car and see what's it got under there.

                    Did you say that he gave you the cam card when you bought it? If so, post the specs.

                                Yeah - but it really shouldn't cause the vacuum issues he has. I think he has a vacuum leak somewhere. Mark, if you find that, it might help how it runs - but it sounds like it needs a tune, too.
