Want to quiet it down

So I have headers, not sure if there long or short, never looked and custom exhaust to a FlowMaster muffler with a single out. Here is a video:

How can I quiet it down some? It's too loud for my daughter. I do want to get an electric cutout down the road, but for now I need a cheaper way to quiet it down, but I also don't want to choke the engine. I might be willing to trade someone mufflers if they'll pay to have them swapped, or do it them selves if they have the skills.

Or what you could do I forgot who did it here but someone bought some mat (like dynamat) and it droned out some of the DB, but doubt it would be much.

ummm that wouldn't quiet it down any...plus wife doesn't want to learn how to drive a stick. Also I pretty much have manual brakes, so it's hard enough for her to drive.

It was a joke there chief. And actually, it would make it easier to keep it quiet when out on the road. Not much you can do at this point to make that car quieter, short of putting stock manifolds back on it. Its a cammed, headered, v8 car. If you wanted something quiet, sounds like you should have gotten a v6. Believe me, the swap from blowmaster back to stock isn't going to be that much of a difference. I had both on my car. You just aren't going to get that car quiet enough for you with headers on it.

Go back to stock or get Magnaflow. I mean in all honesty, your flow(or-lack-there-of)master exhaust is one of the worst flowing aftermarket exhaust systems so it's not like you're that much ahead than a stock catback. I'd really like to get rid of my Magnaflow exhaust at some point, but it's a v6 magnaflow exhaust so the intermediate pipe is 2.5 instead of 3.

Yeah - but your intermediate pipe is wayyy too small, and you need a bigger one!
