Was out in the barn working on the suspension and completely zoned out, I totally forgot about the spare 5.3 on the stand out there.

That 5.3 has the square truck coils, so that really opens up my bracket options!

Question though, which truck coil is it thats supposed to be the better one? The round with the heatsink, or the square ones?

They also have blank ones. Also don't worry about the coils there is little difference between them all.

I saw the blank ones, but I dig the chevy ones.

              Wish they came red, lol.

Might just order the black ones and run them and see what I think. Nothing keeping me from putting them in the blasting cabinet and shooting them another color later.

That's not a bad idea Brent, just wondering if I can get them done by next Saturday....

Getting rid of my current covers would mean I'm pulling the last bit of color out of the engine bay...

Post a pic of your current setup. I don't know much about them but I think mine are just the stock LS1 coils mounted in the stock location. Are they easy to take off? Still want to look and see what rockers I have.

My parents are moving so I went over to grab another load of crap I havent gotten from their basement and I stumbled across a quart of paint from my SS spoiler

This prompted me to order the regular (no wording) polished aluminum valve covers, coil relocation, and new wires.

So, in the event I dont get around to painting the covers white and getting some bad ass silver wording painted on, I can rock the polished aluminum for one day I suppose

Also, I have a small bit of paint, clear, and catalyst. Could anyone do a 1 day or overnight turn around on shooting those for me? I forgot my gun is all jacked up

Over 4 hours in on these valve cover and coil relocation. Such a pain..... Will be miserable and harder than the facory coils\covers if they ever have to come off. I would say if your car is completely factory, they flat out won't fit. I've relocated some wiring runs, bent both oil and trans dipstick, made a new fuel line to the rail, etc.
