Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!

coil reloaction is 100x better IMO but all the kits just seems to cost $$$. Then once they are moved you will want some nice valvecovers to show off lol slippery slope. If you had some free time I'm sure you could actually relocate them yourself and order custom wires from about anyone for the cheapest option.
im in the process of moving mine. lol slowly. Most kits come with msd wires which i dont want. Ive had problems with them along with Phil. Ill probably have dynacor or firecore make some
i have the cbm brackets but they are kinda bulky and its a tight fit with them under the cowl. I stopped and started putting a kmember in. Work is killing us these days so I havent touched it in awhile
I really like the Katech relocation, but the price is absurd. Proform actually makes something very similar where they mount the coils in almost the same way along with their valve covers. I think the whole set-up cost around $300 (vc's and brackets) but the down side is they only come in orange and wrinkle black which=lame. You still have to run longer wires (truck wires I think will work). proform.jpg
I prefer the coils on the valve covers. This lets you run the shortest plug wire possible and keeps the coils in a cool and dry location. All are relatively the same temp as each other and each share the same length plug wire
