    I will gap them at 40. Car always seemed to load up a little when idling for long periods of time in traffic maybe this will help.

    I need a dyno tune this spring!

      nothing wrong with going a step colder for a h/c car IMO the plug manufacturer recommends one step per 100 hp increase.

        Not to Jack the thread, but do guys recommend insulated boot protectors with headers? or is this really not necessary? for a weekend road car.

        I'll be running msd wires.. like i said... i'm not sure if they are really necessary on a higher quality wire, because of better construction. for the cost of the example, i could have an extra set of wires on hand. How often you guys change your MSD wires?

          I use stock ZO6 wires and they've been on there for 4 years now no insulators or anything.
