I say go LS style and be done with it, unfortunately $$ is the only factor its sad to see that a nice motor like the LT1 can be ruined by such a poor design. Steve you have a PM.

There's other stuff I hide too.

I'd like to go the LSx route but I don't have money and the system hasn't been tested.

I'm looking into both systems, I'm leaning towards the Delteq with a rotor removal and I know I can run a digital window switch with the Delteq system. The only thing that worries me is that neither of these systems are sufficient for greater than 6500rpms.

Is there a cheaper EMS I can run and eliminate the Opti? or atleast the rotor, add an ignition system and be good past 6500?

            Hey Joel,
I know MSD has a controller to run the LS coils with out the LS computer.
Can it also be used on a LT-1 car in some way??
Maybe something like a LTTC setup??

It's just something that I was wondering about.

Small side-bar here. I was rweading this thread yesterday and browsing through Summit. I noticed they have like 4 different optis in there under the LS/LT section. 'Course, they could just be all re-badged similarities. Thought I'd throw that out there.

I'm just going to delete what I can from the opti It's too much failure prone for me. I'm looking to purchase the Delteq set-up, anyone have input?

Just didn't know if it could be used and if it could can it handle more RPM's?
