Somewhat true Buying parts is easy, and I have a stockpile of 'em, actually putting in the work to install....meh.

Getting parts is easy... if you have the money. Sometimes I feel like I'm on the opposite spectrum of you guys. To much time and ambition on my hands, not enough money.

I was the same way at 17, time will switch that for you.

          Don't plan on drugs

The real plan is to go to college and get my bachelors in Mechanical Engineering. From there I will see if I should continue my education (probably will) or stay put.

            Save your pennies.

Went for EE and CS dual major, got close to finishing and ran out of money and couldn't safely afford any more debt. Life has a funny way of screwing up your plans. Now at 30 I'm in a situation where I can go finish (my interim car hobby definitely didn't help!)

Man that stinks. Right now I am on track for a full ride to SVSU. Taking my ACT in 2 weeks and that will determine my opportunities.

This year I'm taking care of me. I hope I'll have money left over for some slicks so I can run my car a few times.

Apparently putting an LS 5.3 motor in a 86 trans am, needs toi be added to my list.

                      1. Finish this '00 Jeep 4.0L head gasket job and other related junk that needs to go back on the truck. What a PITA......
                      2. Pull in the Impala and do the Intake Gaskets on the 3.4, and fix the balancer oil leak, and two lower engine mounts.
                      3. Pull in the Sierra and figure out what's up with the rear emergency brakes (have none), and swap in the front end parts so it's safely driveable again.
                      4. Re-kickstart my web forum and include said above how-to documentaries in forum (sleety-rainy days of March-April)
                      5. Garage clean out, including figuring out what to do with some of my motors. I may do the Freeland Walleye Fest garage Sale Weekend the end of April in my typical "Man Sale" during all of the other Insane garage sale-ers.
Sadly, most just look at auto parts scratch their heads and say "Well Lookie there peggy sue! That's a fancy lookin ash tray!"
