      While the 98 PCM is difficult for a tuner to deal with, they can do it no problems. Keep your factory wiring the way it is.

        I wouldn't say it's overly difficult, it just doesn't have all the same tables. I learned on the '165 TPI PCM with TunerPro then went to the 97-98 LS1_A PCM with EFIlive, later did the LS1_A with HP Tuners. Cold start and idle have been the biggest differences that I've noticed, many of the other tables/values are the same. Bigger cams are where the 99+ LS1_B PCM shines when it comes to tuning.

        But I'm just a DIY tuner, everyone has their own "style" and I'm still learning little tricks every time I plug in.

            yup after reading a bit and curt is right, its not hard, just takes time and some reading

              No not hard. Just kinda hard to make it look good unless you lengthen some wires. Some don't reach very good to were they need to be re pinned to.
