          • Thanks everybody for the kind words. Makes all the hard work seem a little easier.

I installed a new crank pulley today.....to those of you that may fear this job...don't it's no sweat. All I did was to heat the bore of the pulley up with a porpane torch and the pulley slide right on all the way until it hit it's seat. Just don't get carried away with the heat...you don't want to get the pulley too hot as to affect the dampner in it or don't get it hot enough to melt the seal on the front cover. It really doesn't take much heat to get it to slide on...I was quite surprised on how little it took. I then took an old bolt and torqued it to 240lbs....removed that and installed a new bolt, torqued to 37lbs then an additional 140 degrees....needed a big cheater bar for that one!

I decided to make an EGR block-off plate on the cheap. I'll end up making a nicer billet aluminum later on for now this will work. I just cut the old EGR snout off and welded in a round plate to fill the hole. Painted it black and was happy with it for now.

I found that using a stock 4th gen upper radiator hose (without the P/S cooler) works great for my aftermarket Griffin radiator. I have a different lower rad hose on order...keeping my fingers crossed on that one.
