          Sounds a little off, like a rocker ticking, probably because it hasn't ran since spring. Needs an oil change badly.

          What's left:
          Install the rear tank strap
          Tighten oil pressure fittings
          Finish IP connector wiring and hook up guages
          Knock sensor and coolant fan switch
          Install electric fans
          Install air intake
          Plumb coolant lines, add coolant
          Finish serpentine setup
          Install headers and o2
          TV cable swap
          Replace exhaust hanger
          Oil change
          Final tune then install chip in spare memcal
          Beat the living piss out of it.

            lemme know how the electric fans go. i think im gonna put a suburban 6 care rad in mine with that single electric fan from the 92 camaro or maybe not havent decided yet. are you gonna put it on a switch or inline with the thermostat and use key on power?

              Running two fans, one is ECM controlled and the other is controlled by a coolant switch in the passenger side head or when the AC kicks on (if I install AC). I don't remember if they are 10" or 12", but they are the cheap blue ebay fans.

                  Very. Needed to get it mobile. I need the garage space to fix the other Silverado (rockers are rusting) then I can help the old man pull the Impala body off the frame. Once that is done, I get to go to town on the 5.3 setup for it

                    another silverado? can take some pics of how you do rockers, i need to to those and cab corners sometime soon.

                      2002 Silverado. We already welded in new metal. My dad didn't prep the surface right so the rust came through the paint. This will be a sand/seal/paint/clear fix

                          Well, I went to pull the power steering pulley off and the lip on the snout cracked right off. Had to pull the entire PS/Alt. bracket (Camaro serpentine setup) and use a three arm puller. Pump had some play in, swapped it with a spare. Luckily I had a spare PS pulley on the shelf.

                          All systems are go, besides the cooling fans and final exhaust. I do get a random intake backfire though. Need to verify timing mark position and check for vacuum leaks. Should have video this week for you guys.

                            that happened to my pulley too. i think its an 88-89 thing cause i dont hear of any other years having that issue
