Thanks, I've been very fortunate. Working almost full time and keeping my eye on the prize! The whole living at home thing helps out a ton too.Originally posted by Derek View PostThen you must make a lot better cash than I did during college. Tires will rape you on 18s not to mention wheel cost! You really are a lucky sob

why not 17's? You just ruled those out, much cheaper tires, but hey if you can afford 18's then go for it!sigpic

I know I don't NEED 10.5s, I just like them because they have the deep dish. And I'm not worried about the price of tires - gotta pay to play right?Originally posted by Darren View PostYou dont NEED 10.5 in the rear I dont care what the nutswinggers tell ya.

Better keep looking (says this nut-swinger)Originally posted by Lucky SOB View Postlooks like the rears are 56mm
. Won't be very deep and WILL require some inner fender adjustments. Favor the lower offset number, less hammer work....and yes, everyone needs at LEAST 10.5 out back!
REAR Only
10.0" ... +38 to +54 mm .... 275, 285, 295
10.5" ... +38 to +50 mm .... 285, 295, 305, 315
11.0" ... +45 to +56 mm .... 305, 315, 335sigpic

10.5 out back? im laying true 10.5 on the ground
I thought I already explained to you via txt that you dont need that wide of a wheel!
stubborn, stubborn, stubborn!!!
oh and if you wont BFH your car at all then you need to be CRITICAL of everything when selecting wheels/tires, including height. There are really no guarantees with anything other than a stock setup, plus you didnt get the adjustable lower control arms, so you wont be able to center the rearLast edited by ThreeHonks; February 22nd, 2011, 07:34 AM.

Exactly, I think your going to need the BFH if you go 18x10.5 I mean once you got the wheels and tires and they rub are you going to let them or going to bust out the BFH!?Originally posted by ThreeHonks View Post10.5 out back? im laying true 10.5 on the ground

^^^ not necessarily. I had 10.5 (18s) Simmons with 295s...Eibach Pro's, no issues. I do agree however that you have to do what you have to do....if it rubs, you're going to 'massage' them slightly.sigpic

^^ yeah thats more what I meant, "your going to do what you have to do..." mentality. I would hate to see you buy some nice wheels and tires and have them rubOriginally posted by OVRKILL View Post^^^ not necessarily. I had 10.5 (18s) Simmons with 295s...Eibach Pro's, no issues.
