get what you like, our opinion doesn't matter ... as for me, the wheels I want are far too expensive-hence why I'm rocking he polished speedlines yet.. haha

          • If you get what the majority likes, everyone would be rocking TTII's, ZR1's, or Ten spokes.

Looks great and get what makes you happy!

            • 10 Bolt Removal

Nick (GOR1LA) came over today and gave me a hand with removing the 10 Bolt rear end. The plan is to basically strip it of all cables, brake lines, brackets, etc. and clean everything up and repaint with chassis saver. Most parts will be either sandblasted or wire wheeled. The differential fluid will be changed - gears will not be touched (stock 3.42s).

Overall it wasn't too bad, neither of us had dropped a rear end before and start to finish it took us 3 hours.

We didn't break any bolts or round off any nuts! Verrry happy with that. All bolts will either be cleaned up or replaced.

              New Parts for Installation:
              Drilled Rotors and New Pads
Double Adjustable Founders Panhard Bar (Red)
              Double Adjustable Founders LCAs (Red)
              Repainted Calipers (Red)
              Repainted Sway Bar (Red)
              Misc. Brackets repainted (Black)

Remove spring isolators and install heater hose over top coil

Thanks for the help Nick! ...onto the pictures

And one picture of the painted battery installed... needs another coat or two - missed some crevasses

              • Yeah, dropping a rear isn't that hard really.

                Looks good thus far!

Agreed - even more reason to not do a trap door (flame suit on )

I'm sorry dude - geez when I do text you, you're busy. And when I forget, you're not busy. lol. I'll write your name on the differential or something to remind me to call you for the install Definitely gonna need help reinstalling the exhaust. This exact rear end might not be going into this car tho... I'm thinking about buying Brent's 16k mile 10 bolt. Probably less rust and the less miles on a 10 bolt, the better. We shall see...
