Haha they feel totally different. The 5th gen drives like a dream, I have to drive the TA. But I'd say the TA will probably inch out on the Camaro. The Camaro probably puts another 30hp +/- to the wheels, but it does weight a couple hundred pounds more.Originally posted by nascarnate326 View PostWhos car feels faster?
The "parts for sale" forum on LS1tech has me drooling. Next winter I'll try to do a nice little build. That is if I'm still around. Looking at grad schools out west (like rocky mountains west)2000 Trans Am l 1967 Firebird

In the big end, just about any 4th gen is going to trump a 5th. From what Ive heard 5th gens fall on their face once they have to start pushing some air around.Originally posted by Lucky SOB View PostHaha they feel totally different. Ehhh... that's kind of a stretch. Stock gen5 record is 12.58 I believe.Originally posted by JoeliusZ28 View PostIn the big end, just about any 4th gen is going to trump a 5th. From what Ive heard 5th gens fall on their face once they have to start pushing some air around.
So ok, you mod both of them, I still think dollar for dollar the gen5 stays ahead. That LS3 is a monster
