      • Those are some bad ass pics with the firebird! Don't give your dad too much heat for that. I park the same way most of the time.

Haha thanks Tom. In the spring I'll be making a thread searching for a second and third gen trans am/firebird in bright red to do an "all generation" photoshoot.

Are those Brenna's wheels set in front of your wheels?

          • I'm with Joel. I would just paint it black. No reason to waste money on a battery when you don't need one.

              • I'm making a list of small projects for the winter, and one of the tasks is fixing the power lumbar and bolsters in the driver side seat. They simply don't work... they make noise, but don't actually work. Anyone have any thoughts? I won't be tearing it out for a few more weeks, but thought I'd get some opinions. Thanks

                • Sounds like a gear or something is stripped. I think the only way you'll truly know what's going on is to tear into it and see what is going on with the motors.

                  • Nearly a month later & 19 pages, and I finally stumple across this thread.....total fail on my part.

Fred car is looking great, I like all the plans you have for it, should look really good when you're done. I'm with Joel on the battery mod, save your money for a wheel upgrade.

Thanks for the confidence in my Pontiac knowledge, I'd say there are others here who rival that knowledge though, and you did well in asking advice from each of us. Congrats again!!!

BTW-Absolutely love the pics with the '67!!!!!!

Thanks Scott, yes the wheel fund is open and taking donations. In all seriousness, I hope to have some new ones by mid spring time!

Yeah, those are the Camaro rims in front of mine. I was going to put them on my car for a few months but they are super skinny and I barely hook as it is.

I can understand... these 245's on my car feel like bicycle tires

                          • Fixed the power lumbar and bolsters.... There was a connector that was unplugged Easy fix. But it was a great opportunity to vacuum under the seat!

                              • Had the battery charged/tested at autozone... popped it back in and it fired right up. Drove it for a loop and everything seems fine. I hadn't driven the car in about a week, idk if the radar detector being plugged in drained the battery or what? But I find it odd that I couldn't get it to turn over more than once when I was trying to jump it with my truck.
