      • Take the moldings off fred, it will look much better/smoother. besides, they are too low to protect the door from anyone else anyway. I have planned to do mine but I just haven't got around to it yet. I never liked removing the trans am words though, its a trans am, it should say that somewhere at least!

Yeah, Joel is going to do mine and polish the area underneath them... just need to make the decision. I'm not worried about door dings. It is never parked near another vehicle

Do you have overlays on your "Trans Am" on your doors? I'm thinking I would have to go black if I do decide to leave them on. PS... it says "Trans Am" between the tail lights

yeah, but we all know the ls1 is too slow, nobody sees my taillights, just the door panel.. haha

and yeah, I just bought the black overlays, I've always liked the look of them over the entire emblem being black. I think I bought the front bird, 2 ram air decals, the taillight bird and words, rear fillin, door emblems, headlight emblems, and a spare bird as a whole kit from a guy on ebay, I think it was like 30 bucks.

Thank you! That's why mine is debadged, I prefer the smooth look.. I know it's not for everyone, but for me personally I like the debadged look.. But you for sure should remove the side moldings, you won't regret it..

Haha... Yeah unfortunately I have all of the decals I wanted already (bought all separately). But I may add the door overlays... the doors in general are still up in the air.

                            • FWIW I like it shaved. between the sidemarker, heat extractor, door handle, gas tank, and another side marker... theres enough clutter on the side of the car already.
