LOL! Your center panel does look great Larry! I guess I'll see how it looks after the current faded decal is removed and the panel is polished up...

Well, only reason I am thinking yours would look better polished is because your car is red.. So if you do the "phoenix" and "Trans Am" it will just look stock.. If that makes sense...Originally posted by Lucky SOB View PostLOL! Your center panel does look great Larry! Exactly! Is this the best method (wet sanding) to get the decal off? I will be using a resource that had buffing jacks, so I'm not worried about getting the shine backOriginally posted by ThreeHonks View PostFred- you are going to have to wet sand and polish the piece between the taillights to get the old decal off anyway, so you will be able to see what it looks like then.

Looking at your sig... I seem to remember you removed your body side moldings, do you have any closer pictures of that area?Originally posted by OIF1VET View PostWell, only reason I am thinking yours would look better polished is because your car is red.. just start with like 1000 to get the decal itself off (will take a while) and then move to 1500, then 2000. Be sure to use a wet sadnign "block" for this to make it as level as possible. Dont rush itOriginally posted by Lucky SOB View PostExactly! Is this the best method (wet sanding) to get the decal off?
