More Parts!
Yesterday I came home from work to find more packages!

I got a replacement "change holder" for my center console because mine did not come with one... I'm pretty sure it is exactly the same as the one in my 1999 S-10
I also got my fourthcircledesigns "Blackbird" style stripes with the "Ram Air" cut-out. These will be applied after the paint work is done. My "tint guy" [Kolin (tastyZL1)'s dad] will be doing my window tint and applying all of my decals. PM me for info, his company does TOP NOTCH work!
Onto the pictures...

The T/A's First Car Wash
Yesterday was the first time I gave the car a full car wash! I am very happy with how clean the body of the car is. Once the paint work on the front is complete, it should look incredible
I also gave the engine bay a "quick detail" using an engine de-greaser/shine product. You spray it on the motor (warm) and wait 15 minutes. Rinse off with low pressure water and dry. It worked great for what it was. I'll be more thorough this winter, but so far it is a vast improvement.

This is me washing the rear spoiler
My DD is in the background along with my Mom's '67 Firebird

Annnnd, the engine bay pictures...

US Exotics WS9 Hood
Here are some pictures of my WS9 hood. It is not very common, and I LOVE it. I'm very much looking forward to having it block-sanded and resprayed. The profiles of the hood are exactly the same as a WS6 hood, with the addition of the two heat extractors (actually functional) up near the A-pillars.

This picture shows the heat extractors and how the underside of the hood is unpainted. It will be painted when the top is done.

Pictures of Bill's (bfranz48154) Camaro SS and my car...

Btw, thanks Bill for letting me know one of my third brake light bulbs was burnt out. Took the lens off this morning and both bulbs actually looked toasted. Replaced them and all is well

First Oil Change
Picked up 6 quarts if Mobil 1 5w-30 from Costco for $32

After finagling with my antique oil filter wrench, trying to get it on the filter with the longtubes in my way, I realized I needed a tool upgrade. So I took a trip to O'reileys to get the newer style wrench.

It's very clean underneath, but still needs some TLC this winter

Popped the MTI clear lid (looking to trade for a black SLP lid
) off and inspected the air filter... VERY dirty! So back to O'reileys to get a new FRAM replacement.

You're talking between the tail lights correct? I'm already planning on stripping the old decals and having the panel and tail lights polished. I guess I'll see how it looks from there. I should have the CETA panel painted by then too... I just don't want there to be too much black on the car. But I did look at Ryan (Threehonks') car this weekend and his does look GREAT with nothing on that panel. Thanks for the suggestion!Originally posted by c0ncEpT View PostLooks great Fred. I would send those rear filler decals back and went sand and polish the rear panel. Looks MUCH better that way IMO.2000 Trans Am l 1967 Firebird
