why ditch the block? if it can be cleaned up reuse it

but imo jeff look for a 6.0 iron block like i did mine was a short block and i got it for 100 bucks lol

cause either way the rods are the same and the cost of the pistons would be the same and you'd have to do the same amount of machine work prolly in the end.

    so Y not!?

i guess if 80lbs is the big issue lol

      98's can't really be honed much. 3.903 max. later ls1s are3.905 or sometimes 3.908

No spray on this motor at all Larry. Yeah Russ I'd like to go bigger but why spend the extra money on different stuff, I'm gonna reuse my block if I can and my heads and everything else if I go bigger than I have to upgrade the crank, and heads, and valvetrain. Besides it'll be nice to run such great numbers on stock cubes and a bit of juice, the car already has great potential with a rear and suspension work.

            Motor is out!!!!!

Thanks go out to Jonny, Vince, and Moulner for a helping hand and of course my dad for all his great ideas. My birthday is in a week or so and maybe I can convince some people to pay for the block to be machined and the crank polished

p.s. thanks for showing up to watch us clean up Campbell

haha I know jeff, you're a michigan fan, but Mike would have sex with Bo's dead body. So I always give him a harder time.
