If you are looking too save money, you might look at Ebay. I found a couple of listings for tranny's you might want too look over:

            http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/98-02...QQcmdZViewItem

            http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/96-97...QQcmdZViewItem

And here is the rebuild kit for it:

            http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/4L60E...QQcmdZViewItem

Let me know if you might want some help with the removal Mike, I might be able too help you out depending on when you want too get it out of there.

That is true, but sometimes money can have a big factor in a situation. I am just throwing up some options for Mike...

cost is a factor, yet i know it will be done right, and i definately dont want to have to do it again. Ill be pulling the tranny sunday morning and hopefully getting it down to Dave that same day.

what went wrong with yours Jeff? 2 weeks is going to feel like 2 months. i just want to drive it, and get it to the track. is there a break in time on a rebuilt tranny? i need to get it down the 1320 to see if my mods made me quicker.

Mine just went I guess must have happen before I put it away last year. Dropped it off at Seans and the trans started slipping bad and I lost reverse almost completly. Its gonna get built up though so hopefully its done in two weeks or so.

Trans going left and right... mines going in this weekend down at the rents house in Ohio... should be about a week to get mine back though.
I'm sure the wait is going to be worth it mike, you just have to sit on your hands for a few days...
