        Pull the valve covers and make sure all the valves are there...

          Yea the last thing I would worry about is looking at parts and prices. Gets rather overwhelming really fast.

          I deffiently think it has to do with valve train tho. I would went with double springs just for extra insurance. Yea they are more expensive and heavier but I wouldn't run any even somewhat built motor without them.

          Let us know the verdict tomorrow!!!

          Also did the car shake real bad like the motor was out of balance?

            Hook a vacuum gauge up and see if theres an erratic reading

                car did not shake. actually besides the noise and having to keep throttle applied, it seemed fine, if that makes any sense. ill be getting out there soon

                        did you take out the push rods and see if one is bent? roll them on a flat surface
                        98 z28, m6, monster clutch, eibach pro kit, custom twin turbo setup, 317 heads, z06 valve springs, arp rod bolts, 512rwhp at 10lbs. cobra eater

                            i'd try that. did you pull your spark plugs? might have detonated and flattened one. thats what happened to me.. i got on it a little too much before my tune... after i pulled valve covers rocker arms, and push rods, checked everything, i pulled my plugs and number 7 was bent in

                              havent done that either. i think ill drop the motor before i do much more. so much easier to work on but im waiting for dustin to come take a look first.

                                pulling the plugs is easy.. dont yank the motor before you check that..
