Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!

You'll be fine spencer I have had DRs on my car for 4 years and not a whine of displeasure from my 10 bolt, heck it held for 1.53 60' times and pulling some tire
Shop just called me, 1 of the converter bolts backed out and went for a wild ride inside the bellhousing. They told me those were the wrong bolts, correct thread and everything, just not long enough. Turns out I was given wrong bolts, they are torque converter bolts, but for a V6 camaro, not a V8.... The v8 converter bolts are more than twice as long as the v6 ones. The shop is finishing it up now and my dad is heading over there with the trailer to pick it up at lunch.
They don't know what the hell is going on. GM only uses 2 typical bolts , the ones i gave you and the LS (big head style) . The LS style is 1 thread longer than the bolts i gave you. I'm not trying to sound to pissy, just calling bs on 'ol phill's.
My buddy went well into the 11.40 range on drag radials with low 1.6 60' times on a stock 10 bolt. Automatics don't break rearends anywhere near as much as an M6 car does. Ask me how I know, lol.
