Rear End Noises?

Not so much - we got a guy across the street that I guarantee will come over though. He's got a nicely modded Chevelle. It's definitely a car neighborhood, though.

if it does it at idle and not moving its not the rear end. sounds like a throw out bearing, pilot bearing, inputshaft bearing, pocket bearing

Couldn't you eliminate throw out bearing and pilot bearing if your in neutral and clutch in. clutch out no load on throw out bearing could cause wobbly noise. what you think?

It's coming from the rear, right under the rear seat tunnel and hump for the tank.

followup: Joe cam over looks like problem was exhoust pipe hitting tunnel connector and tailpipes possible hitting gas tank sheild.
So I saw the mysterious engine, all I can say is the previos owner did a lot of nice work on this car, suprised that someone would do all that work on a V6.
