clutch pedal stuck up!

MY guess would be a bad throwout bearing, it recently failed on my car and of a buddies car. (different reasons for failure, same symptoms though)

That's funny because a similar issue happened in October and it was a bad throwout bearing. Sounds like the culprit to me.

Update: Finally got around to getting the trans out, throwout bearing is definitely toast.

Any theories on what could cause this? This is the second time now, first time it was fixed under warranty. I don't drive with my foot on the clutch and I haven't done any racing with it since the repairs in October so I'm baffled.
