I personally think the black felt looks good as my interior has a lot of black in it already. Here are the plans that I used to build the box. This set of plans is to build the base and then you have to measure and cut the top exactly how you want it. All you need is a sheet of 3/4 MDF screws and liquid nails or some kind of sealer. Look at my car domain site for the pictures of the complete build, I took some detailed ones so you can see the progress. But enjoy and if you start builinding one please share the PICTURES I'd love to see how it'd turn out. I actually just finished building one for my buddies 4th gen and I like the way I did his better so I am already considering changing mine again...

Alright guys well I went out yesturday and messed around with the car a little and of course I checked on the sub box. It seems to have sealed up really well and no more leaks or problems so it looks like the liquid nails and a few extra screws did the trick! I'm glad that I will once again be able to roll around with the thump in the hatch once this nasty white stuff melts.

I could not find some to match the interior of my car...I looked aftermarket in junk yards for another third gen with red interior and so on...I liked the way the black turned out and there is a lot of black in my car...Kind of breaks the red up a little, but I am still keeping my eyes on local junk yards for red interior and may re-cover it too see how it looks...
