  • My custom sub box

Hey guys new to mifbody but I thought I'd share some of the work that I have done to my thirdgen in terms of audio. I am running a Kenwood cd/MP3 player head unit all pioneer interior speakers (even though thats what I want to change out next either kick pannels or door pods...) I have 2 12 inch Kicker CVR subs and a MTX 801 D class amp powering them. Heres some pictures of my setup and the custom box build. The pictures show my sony subs which were temporary until I could get my hands on something better like the kickers! Let me know what you all think! You can see more pictures at my cardomain site: http://www.cardomain.com/ride/3160105

      Wow, that's pretty clean!

You should get some red carpet, though.

x2 red carpet would make it look much nicer.

A quick chop. Couldn't get the colors to match, but it certainly gets the point across. Red carpet would look great!

Looks good. I considered something like that but, that's where I stow my T-tops and I'm not willing to sacrifice the space for the extra thump.

I think that the black carpet looks good since you have other black accents within the car. Great Job!!

got 2 subs and an amp back there and the t-tops still fit back there no problem for me. course, there isn't much room for anything else, just t-tops, 2 chairs and some cleaning supplies. the THUMP is worth it for a cruzer car.

I'm could've put my T-Tops back there with my 2 12s, but I didn't want to risk anything - or have anything rattle. I just flipped down the back seat, and put them there! Worked great.
