OK, really having a hard time getting a good pic in the shop at night. Hopefully I get some tomorrow if it's sunny out...
Here are a couple that show the finish:

This show's a bit of the shine...

I needs to be washed and polished a bit, but I am SUPER happy with the outcome.

Once it gets clean and sunny out, I will post some more.1995 Z28 Convertible. SLP CAI, Edelbrock shorty headers, Magnaflow catback, custom tune.

Yea, other than the paint finish itself, everything else is filthy! Rims, tires, interior....bleah...Needs a bunch of cleaning time for sure.Originally posted by JoeliusZ28 View PostI dont see any orange peel, looks great! Its gonna look hawt once you get some tire shine on the tires/wheel wells.
For some reason the radio and interior lights didn't work on the way home either. Going to have to check into fuses and such later this week to see what's going on there.1995 Z28 Convertible. SLP CAI, Edelbrock shorty headers, Magnaflow catback, custom tune.

Original quote was $2k...then he got the old paint off and started finding shit.....
Worth every nickel in my opinion.
My "expert" will get to look at it on Saturday to tell me what he thinks of it.
He is the head painter at RM classic cars in Chatham (look em up...unbelievable cars there...)
Either way, I'm happy so far.1995 Z28 Convertible. SLP CAI, Edelbrock shorty headers, Magnaflow catback, custom tune.

Re: She's FINALLY going in for paint....
Looks good man! When you mentioned metallic black pearl for the color, I was going to comment and try talking you into just a factory black. Looking at the pictures and it being a vert, I think you made a good call! Did he shoot it with a waterborne paint?
