    Ugly-ass alternator was buggin' me. Powder coated the pulley and small back bracket, painted the cast aluminum bracket gloss black (while still on the car) and painted the alternator chrome-silver.

    I was going to powder coat the alternator chrome, but after partially dismantling it, I wasn't 100% sure I could get humpty back together again, so I chickened out and painted instead. I think I may take the fan disk off and repaint it gloss black as well, just to break up the silver.

    I have an intake elbow coming, which will hit the powder coater as well...still need to do something about the rad top plate. Looks fugly.

    You can get a chrome radiator top plate.
