Tomorrow is Spray Day, Got the go to use one of the booths at work. Not a big chance of snow here. So hopefully no salt on the roads. If I wake up to accumulated snow then It will have to wait till spring.

Finally got some time to post update. I made it to work last friday with the car. What a pain in the ass that was. I took off sideways at every stop sign. Luckily they didn't salt until after I got it there, and the roads were dry when I went home. So I got it in the booth and looked it over under the way better lighting than I have at home and thought this car is not getting painted looking like this. I seen alot of little dings I missed at home and a couple more spots on my hood I need to fix. It looked like some slight hail damage on the roof. So I sanded it all with 220 and covered it with 1 coat of epoxy sealer and 2 good coats of high build primer. What a difference that made. It already looks better. I will block it down by hand with 600 or 700 before painting it. That should take care of all the minor issues.

Here is a close up of where the antenna hole was. You can also see how smooth my primer turned out.

                              I did. It's a stock 84 z hood with a glass scoop I bought from unlimited products. Here's a link for it.

All my primers are ppg urethane based I got from work for free. The paint used on our fire trucks are high solids and leaves alot of orange peel. The paint I bought is medium solids, lays down alot flater. It is also urethane based so it will be compatable with the ppg primer. I got it here http://shop.thecoatingstore.com/KemB...l-Colors-G.htm Titanium silver, but they spell it silber. I paid a little over $200 for the base, clear, activators and reducers.
