Right decision on the stripe for sure, but I agree with Kyle do something about that ride height and wheel gap up front! I know you said you cant lower it because of your driveway but gotta do something!
Oh by the way are the holes in the side GFX towards the back, was that for your side exit exhaust ideas back in the day?sigpic

Oh god, here we go again... everytime I post pics *sighs*
Yes I understand about the wheel gap - my stereo in the back with the batter relocated and the fact my rear shocks are shot... I'd love to lower the thing but it would be death for the gfx....
The fender vents are real..., I know nobody likes them but me. I do plan on in the future getting them blended into the fender for a more clean look but for now thats what it is.
The holes in the side gfx are from a failed side exiting exhaust attempt. Loss WAY too much ground clearance for it to be practical on a DD so I cut it all out and when to a GMMG cat-back. The holes are still there.sigpic

Hey hey wait a minute! Dont take it that way! I love the car, very different and unique for sure. Stands out and actually I think it flows well and overall looks great. Is there some things I dont like about it? sure! But overall I love the work and can appreciate that! Just some helpful topics/questions. I remember the side exhaust thing I just asked for clarification (memory isnt that great).Originally posted by MeenZ28 View PostOh god, here we go again... everytime I post pics *sighs*

I think you just need a taller sidewall...well, and to be loweredOriginally posted by MeenZ28 View PostYes I understand about the wheel gap - my stereo in the back with the batter relocated and the fact my rear shocks are shot... I'd love to lower the thing but it would be death for the gfx....

In hind-site I may have over-reacted. I apoligize. I'm just so used to the narrow-mindedness of LS1tech and CamaroZ28 (where EVERYONE needs an SS hood and Spoiler and ZR1s....) that I automatically went into defensive mode.
The taller sidewall maybe somthing I'll look into when these tires need to be replaced (the fact that the wheels are staggared 17" in front 18" in the rear don't help the cause much either).
Thanks for the comments guys. I'll try not to be as sensitive next time.... :-psigpic

yup, you pretty much summed up what I was going to say. I think it's a very cool car - I love the hood and front GFX! The stripes continuing through the interior are also very cool.Originally posted by Darren View PostHey hey wait a minute! Dont take it that way! I love the car, very different and unique for sure. Yep, definitely right decision.
I kinda like the fender vents on your car. They add something to your overall "look" and make it unique.
Can I make a suggestion? That area that was cut-out looks like a natural location for a 3rd or 4th Gen style Z28 emblem. You can buy them in just about any color you want, and you can add color to the grooves too. If you pop off the front fender emblems and add them to the cut-out, it could look sweet.

Yes, I always welcom sugestions - this ain't a bad one either. Been trying to figure out what to do with those holes...and with the fender vents and the emblem that part of the front fender looks a little cluttered - this would solve two issues.... I may run with this.Originally posted by ktl711 View PostCan I make a suggestion? That area that was cut-out looks like a natural location for a 3rd or 4th Gen style Z28 emblem. BTW - this thread has restored in my mind why I hold this board so much higher than the others in my mind. Thank you guys.sigpic
