  • I'm ditching the side stripes....

I need a change and after a few comments in the past I think the side stripes have had thier day. I'm going back to this look

I'll put up pics when done. BTW - removing vinyl is not as easy as people think it is... *sighs*

Holy Cowl? There's no holes in my cowl....

Ok got them all off. I snatched my wife's hair dryer when she wasn't looking - hope she doesn't mind. Already I'm feeling this look better. I only had one issue - some of the paint came with it on the passenger side front fender. Not major - a little touch up paint will fix it. Don't know why it did that though. Now I got to run to the store and get some "Goo-gone" to get the adhesive off the car and I'll be good to go.

Yup, a bit too late but I would have done it anyway. See... I have this problem. I can't leave weel enough alone. I always have to change things. I just think it looks less complicated without them. Always looked too busy before. Like guys who do hood and deck lid stripes with Hockey Stick stripes. Just tooo much.

Now that the hassle of christmas is over I had some time to take a few pics.

Did I make the right decision?
